For a year now I've ignored the fact that spiders love my apartment as much as I do. They seem to be of the harmless type, but there are indeed way more spiders here then any place I've lived before. I finally listened to my friend who said that I have too many spiders (and this is coming from a woman who owned a tarantula).
I'm trying out natural spider repellants that will hopefully encourage the spiders to dwell elsewhere, instead of killing these valuable critters. I put eucalyptus pods on the window sills, in corners and next to door ways. Spiders also don't like the smell of citrus, so I "borrowed" a lemon from the neighbors tree, juiced it, diluted it with water and wiped down the same areas I put the good smelling eucalyptus. I'll let you know how things turn out.
Do you have any spider deterring remedies?
I feel fortunate for being diagnosed with not only being allergic to gluten (which is a protein in common grains like wheat, oats, barley and rye), but to chicken eggs and to cow’s milk.
Being allergic to “all things American” has forced me to be creative in another avenue of my life.

Free Documentary Films
I found this site, Free Documentary Films, where I can stream 1,800 documentaries. Plus they are commercial free.
I'm seriously considering cancelling my netflix account. Why pay $8 when I can stream for free?
On Free Documentary Films, I just watched The World According to Monsanto, which talks about this multinational company who's trying to control the world by owning all of the seed.
