Raw Cookbook (for lack of a better word)

In 2011 each month I picked a food theme and I gave myself the challenge of trying or cooking 4 foods or drinks on that theme. February was Thai food month. April was Indian food month.

During that time I learned that my body functions best running off of raw food, seaweed and superfoods.

I'm starting off 2012 by focusing on making meals that make me feel as good as humanly possible. I love having so much control over how I feel.

The library hooked me up with a raw cookbook called The Raw Primer by Chef Suzanne Alex Ferrara.

For lunch I made fettuccini alfredo using zucchini instead of noodles and the sauce was made from various nuts and miso. Since how I didn't have to cook anything, it was just a matter of chopping and blending up food.

I wish I could say how amazing I feel since eating that delicious dish, but I inhaled it. I was out doing errands, which pushed lunch back. The fettuccini dish was so good, that I sat cross legged with a cup of homemade lemonade and chowed down. I guess I can't learn everything at once can I?
